Marasco Center Support Groups

Bereaved Parents: Support Group for parents who have lost a child from birth on. Meets 1st Monday of every month at 7:30pm.

Multiple Sclerosis: Share your thoughts and concerns with others who have been diagnosed. Meets 2nd Monday of every month at 7:30pm. Contact: Donald Plunkett at 565-2240

"New Beginnings": Support group for those who have been separated, divorced or widowed. Meets Tuesday at 7pm

DIAL-A-BUS is a 24-hour-in-advance demand responsive transportation service for the residents of the towns of New Windsor and Cornwall. Reservations must be made at least one (1) day in advance with the coordinator, during the reservation hours shown above. No exceptions.

DIAL-A-BUS areas of service are the Town of New Windsor, Town of Cornwall and the city of Newburgh only.

The one-way fare for DIAL-A-BUS service is $1.00 per person. Fare for Senior citizens 60 years and older and handicapped passengers with a Medicare card is $.50. Children under the age of 5 are free, 5 and above are $1.00. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Donations are accepted all year long for our neighbors who are experiencing hard times. If you and your family are in need of assistance you may be eligible to receive help from our food bank.

Food pick-ups are once a month. Please call 845-565-7750 for more information.

Applications can be picked up at the Recreation Department Office.

AARP Safe Drivers Course
AARP Safe Driver

Description: Get a discount on your insurance premium by taking this safe drivers course from AARP. Must come into the Recreation Department with a check made out to AARP to sign up. Click here to download registration form which must be returned to Town of New Windsor Recreation Department at 244 Union Avenue with a check or money order made out to AARP.***Please bring your own lunch.*** For more information please call the Recreation Department at 565-7750.

Community CPR and First Aid Class September
Community CPR Class
Description: Join the Town of New Windsor Recreation Department and Keep on Pumping CPR for a course to learn CPR and First Aid. Would you know what to do if someone close to you needed CPR or First Aid? Learn how to save a life and treat people in need of medical attention. You will learn all the aspects of Adult Child and Infant CPR, choking and how and when to use the AED. Upon completion a two year CPR certification card will be issued.
