Town of New Windsor Senior Programs

Marasco Center Weekly Schedule
Monday's Hours: 9am - 3pm
Special Programs: Jazzercise 9:30am - 10:30am ($1 per class): Jazzercise is a cardiovascular exercise program geared towards senior citizens.

Tuesday's Hours: 9am - 3pm
Special Programs: Chair Yoga: 10am - 11am ($1 per class): Chair yoga is approved by the arthritis foundation to ease aches and pains and increases range of motion in participants.

Senior Matinee: 11:30am - 1:30pm: Bring your lunch and watch a movie on the big screen. Click here for movie schedule

Wednesday's Hours: 10:00am - 3pm
Special Programs: Zumba Gold: 10am - 11am (starting March 4th):($1 per class) Zumba Gold is a new Latin and International Dance based workout geared towards Senior Citizens that is turning out to be a lot more fun than exercise should be. Zumba Gold is easy to follow and is a safe way to achieve a workout for the full body, as well as for the mind and soul. If you are breathing you can do Zumba Gold!

Line Dancing: Have fun learning how to dance while getting exercise. Beginner Class is from 12:30pm - 1pm and the regular class is from 1pm - 2pm.

Thursday's Hours: 9am - 4pm
Special Programs: Open day of activities (cards, bingo, knitting, etc)
Friday's Hours: 9am - 4pm
Special Programs: Art Class: Learn how to paint using different artistic techniques. Beginner class with instructor is from 9am-12noon with open painting 1pm-4pm.
AARP Safe Drivers Course
AARP Safe Driver

Description: Get a discount on your insurance premium by taking this safe drivers course from AARP. Must come into the Recreation Department with a check made out to AARP to sign up. Click here to download registration form which must be returned to Town of New Windsor Recreation Department at 244 Union Avenue with a check or money order made out to AARP.***Please bring your own lunch.*** For more information please call the Recreation Department at 565-7750.
