Fall After School Golf Class
Golf Class

Description:This golf program is for ages 5-14 years of age and is an ideal way to introduce children to the sport of golf. Program will teach the basic technique of the swing such as grip, posture, stance, and ball striking, putting and chipping using fun training methods. Rubber training balls are used for class and clubs are not required. Space is extremely limited to six students per session. For more information please call Linda at 914-879-0008.

Halloween Party
Halloween Party

Description:Join the Town of New Windsor Recreation Department for a fun filled scary night. Ride the Haunted Hay Ride and get “scared silly,” dance to Halloween music, enter the costume parade, and enjoy some delicious refreshments. The costume parade is for ages eight and younger and will be held at 7:00pm in the Pavilion. Prizes will be awarded for best costume in three different age groups.

Babysitting Safety Class

Description:The New Windsor Recreation Department is pleased to offer the American Safety & Health Institute Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program.  This program covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children, as well as CPR.   (Bring your lunch)

  • Learn safety practices, CPR and first aid procedures for children and infants 
  • Topics include child safety, play, feeding and emergencies
  • Receive Nationally Recognized Student Completion Card and CPR Certification

Description: A course designed for rescue personnel, lifeguards, nurses and other health workers. This course teaches basic life support skills as well as 2-person CPR, the use of a pocket mask, modified airway techniques, bag-valve mask, and other skilled procedures. Required for nurses, athletic trainers, rescue personnel, lifeguards, and other health care workers. Be sure to bring your pocket mask if you have one, or masks are available for purchase.

Description: An eight week once a week co-ed basketball league held at Stewart Gym. Divisions are divided by age:

Ages 6-8 Year Olds Play on Wednesday's 6:00pm (no game on 12/24 or 12/31)

Ages 9-11 Play on Monday's 6:00pm or 7:15pm (no game on 12/22 or 12/29)
