Nancy Pullar Summer Concert Series
Summer Concert

Description: Join the Town of New Windsor for our annual Nancy Pullar Summer Concert Series that takes place at the Town of New Windsor Town Hall Band Stand. We have eight Summer Concerts that take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Free refreshments are served such as soda, water, hotdog's, popcorn, snow cones, and Italian Ice. This concert is made possible by proceeds from our Community Day as well as with sponsors. A full list of our summer concert sponsors are located in the concert program. Please click where it says concert schedule below. If it rains concert moves inside to Community Center.

Junior Twilight Golf Camp
Golf Camp

Description:This golf program is for ages 5-14 years of age and is an ideal way to introduce children to the sport of golf. Program will teach the basic technique of the swing such as grip, posture, stance, and ball striking, putting and chipping using fun training methods. Rubber training balls are used for class and clubs are not required. Space is extremely limited to five students per session. For more information please call Linda at 914-879-0008.

Description: Learn the fundamentals of the game of tennis from Coach Carmella Rupp . The five day clinic will teach participants proper grip, fore-hand, back-hand, and serving techniques as well as allow players to hone their new skills by playing matches.

CPR For The Professional Rescuer (August 10th Class)
CPR Pro
Description: A course designed for rescue personnel, lifeguards, nurses and other health workers. This course teaches basic life support skills as well as 2-person CPR, the use of a pocket mask, modified airway techniques, bag-valve mask, and other skilled procedures. Required for nurses, athletic trainers, rescue personnel, lifeguards, and other health care workers. Be sure to bring your pocket mask if you have one, or masks are available for purchase.

Community CPR and First Aid Class (August 10th Class)

Description: Would you know what to do if someone close to you needed CPR or First Aid? Learn how to save a life and treat people in need of medical attention. You will learn all the aspects of Adult Child and Infant CPR, choking and how and when to use the AED. Upon completion a two year CPR certification card will be issued.

Child and Babysitting Safety Class
Babysitting Safety Class

Description:The New Windsor Recreation Department is pleased to offer the American Safety & Health Institute Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) Program.  This program covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children, as well as CPR.   (Bring your lunch)

  • Learn safety practices, CPR and first aid procedures for children and infants 
  • Topics include child safety, play, feeding and emergencies
  • Receive Nationally Recognized Student Completion Card and CPR Certification
